The Pan-African Student league is a
group of Graduate student Think Tank with presence in 54 Countries
in Africa constantly researching solutions to a variety of Africa’s
problems especially in the education sector, and then arguing, advocating, and
lobbying for policy changes at Local, State,
and Federal levels across the continent.
The
organization was founded in 2010 but made its international impact in 2018 due
to several years of consultation with several student union bodies across the
54 countries that makes up the continent. Since 2018, the
Pan-African Students league has played a major role towards the advancement of education in Africa,
protection of student right and sustenance the true Pan African tradition.
The Pan-African Students league promotes
ideas through analysis, education, advocacy, and coalition-building. The
Pan-African Student league is composed of three individual Centers:
1. The
Center for Advancing education in Africa
2. The
Center for Economic Freedom
3. The
Center for Innovation, Technology, and Climate Action
Our goal is to generate new ideas,
encourage enlightened public debate, promote sound policy and program
development that will ultimately alter legislative policies that seeks to harm
African Growth.
Our Organization seeks to preserve
timeless ideas and values of our founding father’s while being open-minded to dialogue on contemporary issues. We
provide a link between the world of ideas and the world of policy, fostering
research, study, discussion, and collaboration amongst a full spectrum of individuals.
To achieve this, the Pan-African Student league publishes numerous policy studies,
briefs, books, periodicals, facts, polls, including peer-review that are in
turn used by the media, policymakers and the general public.
MISSION
The Pan-African Student league works
towards a dual mission of “broadening the parameters of public policy debate to
allow key consideration channeled towards education, Innovation and Earth’s
safety,” and “providing leadership in advancing policy-relevant knowledge about
the most important challenges facing the continent".
